Solaseed Air has introduced a revenue management system from Metro Engine.
Despite managing its revenue independently until now, the airline has adopted this system aiming for further accuracy improvements.
The system allows for complete automation, from demand forecasting incorporating external factors such as lodging demand indices and event information, to calculation of optimal fare amounts and updating fares. It also enables customization in terms of functionality and logic, such as manual interventions on specific dates that require exceptional handling.
Metro Engine has experience with revenue management systems for the hotel industry. The introduction of this system is expected to improve the accuracy of demand forecasting and the efficiency of fare setting operations, leading to increased revenues across all routes and flights.
