Etihad Airways Launches Flights to Nairobi, Operates Four Round Trips Weekly

Etihad Airways has commenced operations on the Abu Dhabi-Nairobi route starting December 15th.

The service will utilize the Airbus A320 aircraft for four round trips per week. It allows for easy connections with flights originating from the Middle East, the Americas, Europe, India, and Southeast Asia. Originally planned to start on May 1st with one daily round trip, the launch was postponed.

Visitor numbers to Kenya in 2024 are expected to reach three million, with a target to expand to five million in the coming years.

This year, Etihad Airways has entered 10 new destinations including Antalya, Bali, Boston, Jaipur, Kozhikode, Mykonos, Nice, Qassim, and Thiruvananthapuram.
