Grand Hyatt Tokyo Launches Strawberry Sweets & Bread Collection
Grand Hyatt Tokyo will offer the “Strawberry Sweets & Bread Collection” from January 14 to March 31, 2025.
The collection includes five types of sweets, featuring three new creations. The “Strawberry Charlotte Cake (whole 5,000 yen, piece 800 yen)” is crafted as a hat-shaped cake, featuring strawberry mousse mixed with meringue as the main component, soaked with raspberry liqueur biscuit, and adorned with large strawberries. Also making their debut are the “Strawberry Piccolo Gateau (2,700 yen)”, a mixed assortment of six types of strawberry petit fours including mousse and tiramisu, and the “Strawberry Long Mille-Feuille (2,000 yen)”. Moreover, the collection offers the “Grand Premium Strawberry Shortcake (2,200 yen)”, using high-quality ingredients like bourbon vanilla for the crème brûlée and Jersey cream for the fresh cream, and the “Strawberry Paris-Brest (750 yen)”, sandwiching strawberries with pistachio cream between flower-shaped choux pastry.
From the bakery, there are two new offerings: the “Creamy Panettone Strawberry (650 yen)”, a hotel’s original bread baked with hazelnut cream on top and filled with strawberries, fresh cream, and custard, and the “Strawberry Danish (600 yen)”, combining dried strawberries boiled in syrup with poppy seeds.
