AirBaltic will cancel 4,670 flights in its summer schedule.
The cancellations are due to delays in the maintenance plan for the Pratt & Whitney engines, resulting in a reduced operating capacity for its Airbus A220-300 aircraft. This will lead to the cancellation of operations on 19 routes and a reduction in flights on 21 routes, affecting approximately 67,160 passengers. Affected customers will be informed about alternative flight arrangements or offered full refunds.
However, the airline plans to operate as scheduled on more than 70 routes.
