The statement said, “To prevent the spread of misinformation and alarmist information, we are in contact with various social media platforms to have this video removed or clearly marked as digitally created footage. Unfortunately, platforms have not responded adequately or swiftly to our requests to review such content, leading us to issue this statement.”
Additionally, the statement emphasized, “Safety is at the core of Emirates Airlines’ brand and operations, and we take situations like this very seriously,” urging the public to always refer to official sources of information.
