Hanshin to Revise Timetable on February 22: Increases in Rapid Express Services and Delay in Last Train Times

Hanshin Electric Railway will implement a timetable revision on February 22.

The number of “Rapid Express” services during weekday daytime hours will be increased from 2 to 3 per hour. As a result, the service interval will return to its pre-COVID timetable of every 20 minutes. Furthermore, adjustments in stopping times will reduce the travel time between Kobe Sannomiya and Osaka Namba stations by 2 minutes for the daytime “Rapid Express” services.

A new Special Rapid service departing from Osaka Umeda Station at 0:15 AM to Kobe Sannomiya Station will be introduced, connecting with the last “Local Service to Mikage” at Amagasaki Station. Consequently, the last train for Kobe Sannomiya Station will depart at 11:55 PM from Osaka Namba Station (delayed by 20 minutes) and at 0:15 AM from Osaka Umeda Station (delayed by 30 minutes). Additionally, the service area of the Express service to Koshien Station departing from Osaka Umeda Station at 0:00 AM will be extended to Mikage Station.

On the Hanshin Namba Line, the service interval of local trains (Semi-Express, Section Semi-Express, Local) from daytime to evening will be changed to approximately every 10 minutes.
