DoubleTree by Hilton Toyama will offer a ‘Grown-Up Cute! All Strawberry Afternoon Tea’ from December 26 to April 10.
In addition to using strawberries in all of the sweet items, the menu introduces variety with pistachios, basil, bergamot, and nuts. The savory items include croquettes using Toyama’s seasonal spear squid and canapes of bread and cream stew.
The menu features desserts such as ‘Heart Mousse’ with basil ganache wrapped in a heart-shaped strawberry mousse, ‘Strawberry Macaron’ with buttercream and strawberry jam sandwiched and topped with freeze-dried strawberry powder, and ‘Strawberry Millefeuille’ with crispy pastry and tonka bean-scented custard cream. Drinks include free-flow tea and coffee made with the hotel’s original beans.
The location is ‘korare WINE AND DINE’ on the second floor. The afternoon tea is available from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, with last orders at 4:30 PM. Reservations are required by noon the day before. The price is 4,500 yen on weekdays and 5,000 yen on weekends and holidays, including tax and service charges.
