Kyoto Rurikei Onsen for REST RESORT Reopening This Spring
Kato Pleasure Group’s K-Express is set to reopen Kyoto Rurikei Onsen for REST RESORT this spring.
Originally opened in 2002, the facility will be renovated to include hot spring facilities, accommodations, a kids’ area, and a lounge that can be enjoyed both during the day and at night, transforming it into a resort where visitors can enjoy both “hot springs” and “play”.
The renovation plans include four areas: a leisure area, a SPA area, an accommodation area, and a play lounge, with new cottages also expected to be added by 2026.
Both the Rurikei Onsen Main Building and the Kobushi Inn Hanakari are closed until April 23.
