Sumitomo Corporation has fully acquired Werner Aero through Sumitomo Corporation of Americas.
Established in 1993, Werner Aero specializes in the procurement, dismantling, repair, maintenance, inventory management, and parts sales of decommissioned aircraft and their components. The company owns a 2,500 square meter warehouse in New Jersey, USA, where it stores thousands of aircraft parts. Sumitomo Corporation of Americas had previously acquired 51% of the company’s shares in 2022. Founder Mike Cazaz, who served as President and CEO, retired on December 31.
