The Centara Grand Hotel Osaka will offer a ‘Strawberry Buffet with Sweet Treats & Winter Savories’ from January 5 to February 28, 2025.
The buffet features a taste comparison of fresh strawberries, about 25 types of strawberry-themed desserts, as well as approximately 60 types of winter tastes including savory dishes and Thai cuisine.
The menu includes desserts such as ‘Strawberry Paris-Brest’ with homemade strawberry jam and rich pistachio cream sandwiched between crispy choux pastry, ‘Macaron Cake’ using four types of ingredients including strawberries, white chocolate, pistachio, and matcha, ‘Pavlova’ with its characteristic crispy meringue texture, and ‘Glass Dessert’ layered with strawberry jelly, panna cotta, homemade strawberry jam, topped with fresh strawberries. Savory dishes feature crab gratin made with red snow crab, ‘Seafood Buri Shabu’, and ‘Beef Cheek Stew in Red Wine’, among others. Thai cuisine includes ‘Yum Woon Sen’ colored with butterfly pea, adding shrimp and strawberries and finished with a sweet and sour sauce, and the ancient recipe beef curry ‘Gaeng Raweng’.
The buffet is located at the Thai restaurant ‘Suan Bua’ on the second floor. Service hours are from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM on weekdays with the last entry at 12:30 PM, and from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays with the last entry at 2:30 PM (2 hours per session).
