Toyoko Inn is offering an accommodation plan called ‘Ukiyo-e Small Room’ in 16 hotels across Tokyo from January 5th, 2025, until March 31st, 2026.
The guest rooms will feature a bed liner depicting ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’ from the Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji series, where a ‘heart shape’ is subtly depicted amidst the waves, dyed in pink, and the silhouette of Toyoko Inn looms in the distance across the waves. Other decorations include a hanging scroll of ‘The Diverging Paths at Mitsumata’ from the One Hundred Famous Views of Edo series, suggesting the building of Toyoko Inn in the Nihonbashi area, a standing picture (‘chinz’) of ‘Tamagawa in Musashi Province’ from the Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji series featuring Toyoko Inn buildings at the foot of Mount Fuji, along with digitally edited Ukiyo-e themed bed mats, lanterns, cushions, etc. Guests will also receive an eco bag featuring ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’.
