JAL Introduces Airbus A350-1000 on Tokyo/Haneda-Singapore Route for Limited Time
JR West Bus, Hiroshima Kotsu, and Hiroshima Bus to Introduce ‘ICOCA’ from March 30
JR West Bus, Hiroshima Kotsu, and Hiroshima Bus will introduce the ‘ICOCA’ transportation IC card starting March 30.
This move comes as a replacement for the PASPY service, which will end on March 29. The coverage includes JR West Bus’s Ungei South Line, Hiroshima City Circulation Line, Saijo Line, Saijo City Circulation Bus, Hiroshima-Kure Line, Hiroshima-Hamada Line, Hiroshima-Hiroshima Airport Line (Hiroshima Airport Limousine Bus), Saijo-Hiroshima Airport Line (Saijo Airport Limousine), all routes operated by Hiroshima Kotsu (excluding some express buses), and all routes operated by Hiroshima Bus.
The cards available for purchase include ICOCA, Child ICOCA, Bus ICOCA Commuter Pass, and Child Bus ICOCA Commuter Pass. Adult cards will be sold unnamed. Discount ICOCA cards for individuals with disabilities will also be available. Points of sale include Hiroshima Station Shinkansen Gate Bus Ticket Office, company branches and sales offices, and on buses.
A transfer discount of 20 yen within 60 minutes between the routes of the three companies, up to 10% discount exclusive for ICOCA users, and eligibility for WESTER Points (charge-only) service will be implemented. Moreover, it will be compatible with 10 types of IC cards that are part of the national mutual use service.
