
Cathay Pacific Increases Kansai-Osaka to Hong Kong Flights to Six Round Trips Daily from March 30
Qantas Airways will operate flights on the Sapporo/Chitose to Sydney route for a limited time from December 15 to March 28, 2026.
Flights will run three round trips a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The service will utilize an Airbus A330-200 aircraft, equipped with 27 business class and 228 economy class seats, totaling 255 seats. The flight duration is approximately 10 hours and 55 minutes from Sapporo/Chitose, and 10 hours and 50 minutes from Sydney.
In Australia, Hokkaido is famous as one of the world’s leading ski resorts, and Sapporo is a popular destination for winter. This new route to Sapporo/Chitose becomes Qantas Airways’ fourth route to Japan, following the Tokyo/Haneda to Sydney, and Tokyo/Narita to Melbourne & Brisbane routes.
