Japan Airlines (JAL) will introduce the Airbus A350-1000 on the Tokyo/Haneda – Paris and Los Angeles routes.
The aircraft will be deployed on the Tokyo/Haneda – Paris route every other day starting May 1, and on the Tokyo/Haneda – Los Angeles route during the summer schedule.
The Airbus A350-1000 is JAL’s new international flagship aircraft, succeeding the Boeing 777-300ER, the mainstay for international routes. The cabin layout features 239 seats in four classes: 6 seats in First Class with a “1-1-1” configuration, 54 seats in Business Class with a “1-2-1” configuration, 24 seats in Premium Economy Class with a “2-4-2” configuration, and 155 seats in Economy Class with a “3-3-3” configuration. For the first time, JAL’s First and Business Classes will offer private suites with doors. All classes are equipped with 4K resolution monitors for in-flight entertainment (IFE), which can be connected to wireless headphones via Bluetooth.
