Japan Airlines (JAL) will launch the Tokyo/Narita-Chicago route on May 31.
The decision to open the route was made to accommodate the demand between Japan and North America, as well as for connecting flights between Southeast Asia, India, and North America. Codeshare flights will be operated with American Airlines.
With the commencement of this route, the schedule for flights from Chicago to Tokyo/Haneda will change from departing Chicago around noon to a late-night departure, starting June 1.
Ticket sales will begin around 3:00 p.m. on February 12.
