China’s Jiuzhaigou Gains Popularity Among Asian Youth – Visit Report Part 1
Iraph SUI Luxury Collection Hotel Okinawa Miyako offers an afternoon tea featuring melons from the Miyako Islands available until April 30.
The three-tier stand is elegantly set with seven varieties of sweets, such as mint-flavored tartines with Miyako Islands melon, creamy “oboro tofu blancmange with melon juice,” and “roselle jelly.” The savory menu includes a sandwich combining bitter melon and spam in a mugwort-scented bread and smoked salmon crepes, all prepared using local island ingredients and presented on a plate reminiscent of the “Irabu Blue” sea. Beverages include a free-flow of 15 types, including espresso and café latte made with coffee beans roasted on Irabu Island, as well as fruit tea. An additional charge of 10,000 yen (for 2 people) allows for a champagne free flow.
Service is available for 90 minutes from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Reservations are accepted until 6:00 p.m. on the day before. The fee is 10,000 yen for two people.
During the period, they also offer a “Melon Parfait,” combining refreshing melon with sweet and sour roselle jelly and two types of ice cream: brown sugar and chinsuko. The price is 3,795 yen. All prices include tax and service charge.
