JAL to Increase Flights on Tokyo/Narita to San Diego Route from March 30, One Round-Trip per Day
Japan Airlines (JAL) will increase flights on the Tokyo/Narita to San Diego route starting March 30.
Currently, the service operates four round-trips per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, which will be increased to one round-trip per day. The aircraft used will be the Boeing 787-8. The travel time is 9 hours 50 minutes from Tokyo/Narita and 11 hours 40 minutes from San Diego.
San Diego is located approximately 200 kilometers south of Los Angeles in the United States and is California’s second-largest city. JAL commenced this route in December 2012, suspended it during the COVID-19 pandemic, and resumed operations in March 2021. In the 2024 summer schedule, JAL plans to operate one round-trip per day.
