NearMe and Seibu HD Operate Shared Shuttle ‘Midnight S Shuttle’ Post-Last Train on Ikebukuro Line

NearMe and Seibu Holdings will operate the ‘Midnight S Shuttle’ from January 29 to March 31.

During this period, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays after the last train, the shuttle will operate from Ikebukuro Station Seibu South Exit to around Kotesashi Station along the Seibu Ikebukuro Line at 1 AM. The shuttle can accommodate up to 6 passengers.

The fare is 4,500 yen until the eastern part of Nerima Ward and parts of Nakano Ward, 5,900 yen to the western part of Nerima Ward, 6,800 yen to Nishitokyo City, 7,900 yen to Higashikurume City and Kiyose City, and 9,000 yen to Higashimurayama City and Tokorozawa City. Payment is only accepted via credit card.

This initiative is conducted as the fifth phase of the railway cross-sectional social implementation consortium known as ‘JTOS,’ composed of JR East Startup, Tokyu, Odakyu Electric Railway, and Seibu Holdings, and is planning demonstration operations on multiple lines.
