JAL to Change/Discontinue Some Phone Numbers for Domestic and International Inquiries
Japan Airlines (JAL) will change or discontinue some of its phone numbers for domestic and international inquiry desks due to an update in its telecommunication system.
Phone numbers for domestic and international reservations, purchases, and inquiries (excluding JAL Mileage Bank members) and the JMB Sapphire and Crystal member-exclusive service desks will be changed. In addition, phone numbers, excluding Tokyo, for the domestic business support line, assistance for those traveling with infants, children, pregnancy, the elderly, or children traveling alone, and the JAL Global Club (JGC) member-exclusive service desk for domestic and international lines will be discontinued. After discontinuation, service will be offered through toll-free or Navi Dial, or via Tokyo numbers.
Furthermore, in the domestic and international FLY ON status and JGC member-exclusive service desks in Japan, customer number and password verification will be required to ensure accessibility.
In overseas regions, phone numbers will also be changed from mid-March to mid-July, excluding the USA and Canada.
