Hakone Sengokuhara Prince Hotel Offers ‘Spring Edible Art Experience ~Wafternoon~’
Hakone Sengokuhara Prince Hotel offers a unique experience where you can create a one-of-a-kind ‘edible art’ designed by Western cuisine chefs and pastry chefs, known as the ‘Spring Edible Art Experience ~Wafternoon~’.
This marks the second iteration following the ‘Autumn Edible Art Experience’ held from October to November. Participants can creatively decorate a pure white Western-style strawberry daifuku, serving as a canvas on a plate adorned with cherry blossom decorations. By using local ingredients such as Mishima carrots, Ashigara tea, and New Summer oranges, alongside ‘an cream’ and toppings, guests can bring their imaginations to life. The experience also includes a ‘modern tea ceremony experience’ where freshly brewed matcha can be casually prepared and enjoyed at your table.
The offering period is from March 1 to May 6. The time is from 2 PM to 4 PM (last order at 3:30 PM). The estimated experience time is 20 to 30 minutes. The venue is the restaurant ‘Grill’. The price is 2,800 yen, excluding tax and a 13% service charge. Limited to 10 people per day and requires a reservation four days in advance.
