JR West Japan Daily Service Net plans to open “Via Inn Prime Kumamoto (tentative name)” in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, in the summer of 2026.
The building will be 10 stories high, with 232 guest rooms planned. It will feature a warm design in the lobby and guest rooms using motifs of water and nature. Additionally, a large public bath with a silky bath and a business lounge will be available.
Access is approximately a 3-minute walk from Kumamoto Station and about 10 minutes by streetcar to the city center. It is conveniently located for sightseeing in the city, such as Kumamoto Castle, Shimotori and Kamitori arcades, and Suizenji Park.
