JR West will preserve and exhibit the 7th car of the 922 Series Shinkansen Electric Track Comprehensive Test Train (T3 Formation) at Train Park Hakusan (Hakusan City High-Speed Railway Visitor Center).
The previous ‘Doctor Yellow,’ currently displayed at SCMAGLEV and Railway Park, was announced to be returned to its owner, JR West, in line with the exhibition start of the newly retired Shinkansen Electric Track Comprehensive Test Train 923 Series 0 Subseries ‘Doctor Yellow’ (T4 Formation). The exhibition location is in the multipurpose space next to the entrance on the first floor. The exhibition is scheduled to start around June.
Train Park Hakusan, a Shinkansen museum, opened in March 2024. It is operated by the city of Hakusan. It is adjacent to the JR West Hakusan General Rolling Stock Depot, where visitors can observe the maintenance and inspection of Shinkansen.
