Skymark has begun procuring Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from ENEOS.
From February 4 to the end of March, a certain amount of SAF derived from waste cooking oil will be blended into the fuel supplied for flights from Tokyo/Haneda to Okinawa/Naha. This marks Skymark’s first procurement of SAF.
Additionally, the March issue of the in-flight magazine “Sky Footprints” will feature a special round-table discussion titled “Are You Familiar with the New Fuel ‘SAF’?”, where employees responsible for SAF at both companies will discuss the prospects and potential of SAF.
