Authorities have urged residents of Santorini Island and surrounding islands to avoid old buildings, ruins, and ports, choose safe routes when moving in areas at high risk of landslides, and evacuate coastal areas immediately in the event of strong shaking. According to reports, more than 10,000 people have already evacuated from Santorini Island, and police are increasing vigilance as a precaution against burglaries. Residents are encouraged to cooperate with authorities and remain calm.
