Tateyama Kurobe Kanko will start operations of the “Tateyama Tunnel Electric Bus” on April 15.
The operation route is between Murodo and Daikanbo. The bus will serve as a replacement for the “Tateyama Tunnel Trolleybus,” which operated until November 30, 2024, for the same section.
The bus designs are unique for all 8 units, featuring seasonal landscapes including Mikurigaike at Murododaira and collaborations with the animated film “Wolf Children.”
