The Hawaii Tourism Bureau has renewed its official Japanese website “allhawaii” on February 14.
Equipped with a chatbot feature guided by the official character “Shaka-chan,” it allows users to discover information by responding in real-time to questions related to traveling in Hawaii. Additionally, a new section “Travel Plans” offers model itineraries according to different purposes. The special features page will provide up-to-date tourism information and seasonal topics each month.
To commemorate the renewal, a campaign is being held until February 28 offering a “Shaka-chan Goods Set” to 50 randomly selected respondents of a survey.
