Royal Brunei Airlines launched the Bandar Seri Begawan – Balikpapan route on February 19.
The route operates two round trips per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Wednesday Bandar Seri Begawan departure allows same-day connections with Tokyo/Narita flights. The aircraft used is the Airbus A320neo. The travel time is 1.5 hours for both departures from Bandar Seri Begawan and Balikpapan.
Balikpapan is a city in Indonesia located on the same island of Borneo as Brunei, known for its beautiful beaches, clear seas, and untouched white sandy shores.
This route will be operated solely by Royal Brunei Airlines.
