Hotel Gajoen Tokyo to Undergo Full Renovation
Kowa will open “Espacio Nagoya Castle” on October 1st.
The hotel is being constructed on the site of the former Hotel Nagoya Castle, which Kowa acquired in 2013 and operated until 2020. “Espacio,” a luxury hospitality brand, will have its third location following Hawaii and Hakone. The hotel is operated by Kowa’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Espacio Enterprise.
The building has 11 above-ground floors and 2 underground floors. It features a design that harmonizes with Nagoya Castle, using stately stone from Ena City, Gifu Prefecture, and a verdigris-colored roof.
In addition to “Tenshu no Ma,” the largest banquet room in the Chubu region and one of the largest in Japan, with diverse banquet halls offering views of the castle keep over the moat, the hotel offers 100 rooms averaging over 70 square meters each, including 2 Presidential Suites. There are also restaurants, bars, lounges, a club lounge, spa, fitness gym, and pool.
