Toyoko Inn to Sell ‘Local GENKI Badges’ from April 1
Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo has revamped its breakfast offerings starting February 1.
The hotel has shifted from the traditional full buffet style to a format where guests can choose from six main dishes alongside a buffet with around 80 items daily. The selectable main dishes include sukiyaki with a luxurious slice of domestic beef loin, grilled eel with dashi and wasabi stalks, beef tail pho, flavourful omelettes made with Okukuji eggs, scrambled eggs, and sunny-side-up eggs. The buffet features a focus on Western dishes, with an extensive selection of salads, fruits, and bread, along with about 80 types of traditional Japanese foods. Guests can also enjoy a richly flavored miso soup using Sendai miso, pork buns steamed in a bamboo steamer, and daily changing dishes like Bagna Cauda sauce with Miura local vegetables and shrimp. The breakfast is available for non-staying guests as well.
The location is “Modern Satoyama Cuisine ZEN HOUSE.” Pricing is 3,630 yen for staying guests and 3,850 yen for general customers, including tax.
