
Tokyo Expressway to Abolish ‘KK Line’ on April 5 at 8 PM
NEXCO East Japan has completed the four-lane expansion of the Ken-O Expressway section between Satte Interchange (IC) and Goka IC, which will be operational starting 6 a.m. on March 14.
The extension is 4.2 kilometers, thus completing the four-lane expansion of the Saitama Prefecture section of the Ken-O Expressway. The maximum speed for this section will be changed from 70 km/h to 80 km/h.
On the Ken-O Expressway, expansion to four lanes is underway for the section between Kuki Shiraoka Junction (JCT) and Daiei JCT, with ongoing development in the Ibaraki and Chiba Prefecture sections as well.
