Air India will launch the Tokyo/Haneda-Delhi route on March 31.
The service will operate 4 weekly round trips on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from Tokyo/Haneda, and on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from Delhi, using Boeing 787-8 aircraft. The flight duration is 9 hours and 5 minutes from Tokyo/Haneda and 8 hours and 5 minutes from Delhi.
This route was previously operated by Vistara, which Air India acquired through a merger, resulting in its suspension on November 11, 2024.
Coinciding with its opening, the Tokyo/Narita-Delhi route operation will be terminated. Currently, only Air India operates this route.
