Emirates Airline will launch routes from Dubai to Shenzhen, Da Nang, and Siem Reap.
The Dubai to Shenzhen route will operate once daily starting July 1, marking the first Middle Eastern airline to service Shenzhen. This brings the number of cities in mainland China to four, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. The route will deploy a refurbished Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Both the Dubai to Da Nang and Siem Reap routes will transit through Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi, with the Da Nang route operating four weekly round trips from June 2 and the Siem Reap route offering three weekly round trips starting June 3. This expands Emirates’ network to three cities in Vietnam and two in Cambodia, all using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The routes aim to expand business and economic exchanges to Shenzhen, enhance trade with Da Nang through the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Vietnam and the UAE, and capture tourism demand in Siem Reap.
The Dubai to Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi route operates five round trips daily, offering possibilities for combination tours. The largest Emirates lounge outside of Dubai has been opened at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
