Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel will sell the “923 Series Doctor Yellow Train Cake” until March 31.
The cake is inspired by the recently retired 923 Series Shinkansen electric track comprehensive test car, “Doctor Yellow,” and depicts it running on tracks. The Doctor Yellow’s body, tracks, and ballast are made with chocolate, and the base is mixed with seasonal strawberries.
The price is 15,000 yen (including tax). It is available by reservation only, requiring at least three days’ notice, and limited to two cakes per day.
