ANA Introduces Pre-Booking Service for Showers in Narita Airport International Lounge
Fukuoka International Airport is developing an integrated complex that includes the domestic terminal building of Fukuoka Airport.
In addition to a commercial facility based on the concept of a “Traveling Airport,” it will feature a hotel, bus terminal functions, and airport functions. It will be located between the current domestic terminal building and the parking area.
The building will have 11 floors, with a total floor area of about 40,000 square meters. The first floor, connected to the arrival floor, will be dedicated to travel preparations and daily content, the second floor, connected to the departure floor, will focus on food and souvenirs, the third floor will feature Japanese character and experiential content, and the fourth floor will be the largest Asian food floor in Japan. The number of stores in the public area will be about 270, which is about three times the current number, making it the largest in Japan.
The bus terminal on the first floor will serve as a hub for local and highway buses. The second floor will have a domestic and international connection bus boarding area, with a dedicated road to shorten the travel time between terminals to about five minutes.
Construction will begin in April and is expected to be completed around spring 2027, with a grand opening slated for the summer of the same year. The total project cost is approximately 45 billion yen. (Photo: Fukuoka Airport)
