Emirates Airline and Costa Cruises have renewed their memorandum of understanding for partnership.
Both companies will cooperate in joint marketing activities, flight schedule coordination, and securing dedicated capacity in the form of ‘cruise blocks.’
As a result, they will cater to demand from major markets across Emirates Airline’s destination network, ensuring comfortable flight experiences for cruise passengers. They will also work closely on transportation between Dubai International Airport and Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal, allowing check-in at the cruise terminal up to four hours before flight departure. Efforts include positioning support teams at the cruise terminal to facilitate smooth check-in procedures.
Costa Cruises first operated in Dubai in 2006, with its flagship ‘Costa Toscana’ set to call this winter. They are also exploring opportunities to expand the partnership beyond Dubai to regions such as Latin America, the Far East, and Southeast Asia.
