MYSTAYS Hotel Management has embarked on a complete renovation of the Art Hotel Niigata Station.
The renovation began in January and will proceed in phases to refurbish the lobby, front desk, guest rooms, banquet halls, and restaurants by July 20. Sales of new rooms have started from the renovated floors.
The building has 12 floors above ground. Although the number of guest rooms remains the same at 304, the room types will be reduced from 15 to 9 types.
For the renovation of the lobby, front desk, and banquet halls, a design concept unique to Niigata’s beautiful nature has been adopted. “The gentle flow of the Shinano River, sunsets over the sea, the clear sea, and golden lands” are the motifs to create an open space with a relaxing flow of time. The banquet hall can accommodate from a small number to a maximum of 612 people. The restaurant “IROHA” will introduce a new buffet counter and alter its layout.
Guest rooms are themed “Land” and “Sea,” with two color schemes based on calming grayish tones applied to each floor. Newly introduced “Deluxe Triple” and “Deluxe Twin” rooms can accommodate up to 4 people.
Access is directly connected to the south exit of JR Niigata Station. It is intended for use as a base for business and sightseeing.
