InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8 will offer an afternoon tea “Larboard Afternoon Tea ~Vert~” inspired by vibrant greenery from March 4 to June 2.
“Vert” is French for “green,” and as the name suggests, it’s an afternoon tea featuring sweets and savories themed in green. The sweets menu includes a green tea financier with matcha, a fromage mousse topped with kiwi fruit, a jelly of green plum and plum wine, a melon shortcake, and a lime tart featuring various shades of green.
The savory offerings include spring ingredients such as a cucumber sandwich, avocado dip topped with herbs, green pea potage, chicken Genovese, and a marinated sea bream with snap peas. Additionally, there’s a special chef’s plate, “Anmitsu with Vanilla Ice Cream and Coffee-Flavored Brown Sugar Syrup,” featuring deep green matcha agar, vanilla ice cream, and shiratama dumplings.
The location is the 2nd floor restaurant & bar “Larboard.” Service hours are from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The price is 7,000 yen, tax and service charge included.
