American Airlines, in collaboration with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the UK Department for Transport (DfT), is trialing a service to enhance the convenience of transfers called the “One Stop Security (OSS).”
The service is aimed at passengers arriving from Dallas/Fort Worth to London Heathrow and transferring to destinations outside the UK. When transferring between Terminal 3 and Terminal 5, passengers can do so without undergoing security checks twice.
The service has been available since February 4, with several hundred passengers using it daily.
