Etihad Airways will launch the Abu Dhabi-Sochi route on May 29.
The airline will operate three weekly round trips on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The aircraft used will be an Airbus A320 equipped with 8 business class seats and 150 economy class seats, totaling 158 seats. The flight time is 4 hours and 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi and 3 hours and 50 minutes from Sochi. Etihad Airways is the only airline operating direct flights on this route.
Sochi is a city on the Black Sea coast in the Krasnodar region of Russia. The area offers beautiful beaches and mountains, and skiing and snowboarding can be enjoyed in the Caucasus Mountains, where the Winter Olympics were held in 2014.
