Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel will be offering ‘Strawberry x Cherry Blossom Sweets & Bakery’ from March 1 to 31.
The monthly sweets include “Sakura Fromage” (850 yen), which wraps a strawberry confit in a mousse of cherry blossom and fromage blanc, topped with a cherry blossom petal. There’s also the “Sakura and Strawberry Cream Puff” (850 yen), a cookie choux filled with cherry blossom-flavored cream cheese, Mont Blanc cream, strawberry diplomat cream, and jelly compote wrapped in gyuhi. The glass dessert “Le Printemps” (850 yen) features cherry blossom panna cotta enveloping strawberry confit, with pink cherry blossom jelly on the sides and sakura chantilly on top.
The monthly bakery items feature the “Sakura and Strawberry Croissant” (500 yen), made with a Danish pastry dough kneaded with cherry blossoms, filled with cherry blossom jam, cream, and strawberries, and topped with honey-pickled cherry blossom petals. The “Domyoji Bread” (500 yen) uses dough mixed with Chiba’s Tago rice and cherry blossom paste, enclosing sweet red bean paste and gyuhi, topped with strawberry fruit and fresh cream, and wrapped in cherry blossom leaves. They also offer a “#SheratonSweetsBox” (4,200 yen) containing six mini sweets, including limited edition items, and two macarons, as well as a “Friday Sweets Buffet” with a strawberry and cherry blossom theme.
The venue is the 2nd-floor cafe “Toastina” with opening hours from 10 AM to 11 PM.
