OMO5 Otaru by Hoshino Resorts will host the “Otaru Canal Afternoon Tea Cruising” to enjoy tea time on the boat, exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays from April 12 to June 29.
The sweets will include “Strawberry Financier” collaborated with Otaru confectionery shop “LeTAO”, LeTAO’s original chocolate “Royal Montagne”, cheese langue de chat cookie “Otaru Irodori Street Fromage”, and OMO5 Otaru’s original “Otaru Flower Wine Parfait” inspired by “Herbarium”. The jelly uses white wine brewed at Otaru’s small winery “OSA WINERY”, combined with cream and tart strawberries.
For drinks, LeTAO original flavored tea “Scent of Otaru” will be offered, expressing the atmosphere of the gas lamps in the town with orange & caramel, and the exotic streets with jasmine & strawberry.
The boat will have tables specially set up for the program, with tablecloths and cushions.
The fee is 4,800 yen (tax included). The cruise time is from 4:40 PM to 5:40 PM, including 20 minutes for travel and boarding preparation from OMO5 Otaru to Otaru Canal and a cruise time of 40 minutes. It is limited to 10 guests staying overnight, and reservations are accepted on the official website until 3:00 PM the previous day.
