Japan Airlines (JAL) will revise the standards for “Language Proficiency Bonus Miles” starting April 1.
The bonus miles are awarded to JAL Card navi members who hold eligible qualifications, and can be accumulated once per language. In addition to the current Eiken Grade Pre-1 and Grade 1, Grade 2 will also be included, and a new inclusion will be for scores of 5.0 or higher in the IELTS. The conditions for other foreign languages will also be relaxed.
Language proficiency tests taken and passed before joining JAL Card navi are not eligible.
