Hotel New Otani Osaka is hosting the ‘Hot Clay Pot Fair’ featuring seasonal lobster and blue crab until April 27.
The clay pot menu includes eight dishes such as “Hot Spicy Lobster Pot – Lobster in Chili Sauce Clay Pot Stew” (18,500 yen), made using a whole seasonal lobster; “Blue Crab Clay Pot – Blue Crab and Vermicelli Clay Pot Stew” (14,500 yen), simmered with seafood and spices in sa cha sauce and finished with butter; and “Clay Pot Chicken Noodles – Chicken and Chinese Cabbage Clay Pot Stew Noodles” (2,800 yen), a soup with chicken and Chinese noodles simmered in a clay pot.
During lunch time, they offer the “Select Your Stone-Grilled Lunch Set” (each 5,000 yen), which includes a choice of stone-grilled dishes from three options, along with a salad, dim sum, and dessert. Stone-grilled dishes include “Mixed Vegetables and Seafood in Soy-based Sauce”; “Stone-Grilled Seafood Fried Rice in Egg White Sauce”; and “Spicy Vinegar Stone-Grilled Eggplant with Pork and Various Vegetables,” from which you can choose your favorite.
The venue is Chinese Restaurant “Taikan-En.” Service hours are from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM for lunch and from 5 PM to 9:30 PM for dinner. All prices are subject to additional service charges.
