ZIPAIR Tokyo announced that it surpassed 2 million total passengers on April 1st.
ZIPAIR Tokyo is a medium and long-distance low-cost carrier (LCC) established by Japan Airlines (JAL). Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, it began operations as a cargo flight in June 2020. It currently operates 59 round-trips weekly on 10 routes between Tokyo/Narita and Seoul/Incheon, Manila, Bangkok, Singapore, Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Vancouver, and Houston.
The cumulative number of passengers reached 1 million in September 2023 and 2 million in July 2024.
