Toki Air airlifted its third ATR42-600 to Niigata Airport.
Departing from Toulouse, France on December 2, 2024, the aircraft traveled through Heraklion, Cairo, Dubai, Hyderabad, Bangkok/Don Mueang, and Taipei/Songshan, finally arriving in Okinawa/Naha on December 7 for necessary procedures. It left Okinawa/Naha at 6:01 PM on April 2 and arrived in Niigata at 8:18 PM the same day.
This is the company’s first introduction of this model. It seats 46, with 12 seats at the front offering extra legroom.
The aircraft will also serve as a charter and a substitute when maintenance is required, ensuring stable operations. Sado operations with this aircraft are also planned, and it will be used for flight training.
