“Waldorf Astoria Osaka” Opens Today as Hilton’s Top Brand Debuts in Japan
Japan Urban Hotel Development rebranded Osaka Joytel Hotel as “Hiyori Hotel Osaka Suminoe Koen Station Front”, operated by Sun Frontier Hotel Management, opening on April 1.
The rebranding followed the renovation of all guest rooms. Located on floors 10 to 19, the 229 rooms include Standard Twin, Standard Double, Deluxe Twin, Family Room where guests can relax without shoes, a Wa-Modern Fourth, and Deluxe Family Room. Each room features Osaka-themed art on the walls, Serta beds, sofas, tables, humidifying air purifiers, large smart TVs over 50 inches, foot massagers, and shoe dryers. The POLA Aroma Ess Gold series bath amenities, reminiscent of tea with seven types of essential oils, are provided, and every room is equipped with a negative ion hairdryer and hair iron.
The breakfast menu has been revamped, offering a buffet with around 50 Japanese and Western dishes, rotating daily. Guests can select two items from a selection of over a dozen gifts such as bath salts, packs, and toys for children, and enjoy welcome drinks and the nighttime “Hiyori Dashi Chazuke”.
The hotel is directly connected to Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line’s Suminoe Koen Station.
