Japan Airlines (JAL) has commenced a mileage partnership with Fiji Airways starting April 1st.
This is due to Fiji Airways’ Oneworld membership. Miles for flights on Fiji Airways will be credited to the JAL Mileage Bank starting with flights on the same day. For codeshare flights, only the flights operated by Oneworld member airlines under FJ flight numbers are eligible for mileage accumulation. Starting from May 1st, the accumulation rate will be partially changed.
Upon the commencement of the partnership, it is anticipated that crediting of mileage for flights boarded on Fiji Airways and post-flight mileage registration will take longer than usual due to system constraints.
