Air France Hosts a Retrospective Uniform Fashion Show and Special Dress Exhibition in Tokyo’s Yurakucho
Intelsat announced that Skymark has adopted ESA (Electronic Steering Array) antennas during the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX2025) taking place in Hamburg, Germany.
These antennas can utilize both Geostationary Orbit Satellites (GEO) and Low Earth Orbit Satellites (LEO), characterized by their slim profile of approximately 7 centimeters, which minimizes air resistance, and fewer moving parts. The antennas are equipped with 9 GEO and 9 LEO on the front and rear, and communicate with both simultaneously. They offer high maintainability, allowing replacement of only the faulty part if needed. GEO services are provided by Intelsat, while LEO services are supported by Eutelsat’s “OneWeb.”
Installation work will be conducted at Boeing’s factory, and starting from 2026, they plan to equip a total of 10 aircraft, including Boeing 737-8 and 737-10 models. The service will be offered for free, with details to be announced as they are determined.
