REVOLUT TECHNOLOGIES JAPAN, which operates the next-generation financial app “Revolut,” will change its forex services.
For paid plans, forex fees outside of market hours will be waived. Currently, a 1% currency exchange fee is charged for exchanges between 5 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Sunday New York time. This will be applied from 9 a.m. on April 22 (Japan time).
Additionally, the free forex fee limit for the standard plan will be changed, reduced from 750,000 yen to 300,000 yen. A 0.5% forex fee will be charged for exchanges exceeding the free limit. This will be applied from 9 a.m. on June 1 (same time).
