JR Kyushu Station Hotel Kokura has been offering rooms themed after JR Kyushu’s 811 series trains since April 1st.
The interior design reuses seat fabrics and other parts used in the 811 series trains operating in Kitakyushu and Fukuoka metropolitan areas, and includes “armchairs,” “curtain valances,” “tissue covers,” “baggage racks,” and “lamp shades.” From the room windows, guests can view various trains passing through Kokura Station.
Room rates start at 14,700 yen. Available on the official website and other platforms.
At the 7th floor front lobby, “original keychains” and “tote bags” using fabric inspired by the 811 series are available for purchase.
